President Sheikh Khalifa has called for performance of prayers for rains, known as Salaat Al Istisqaa, at 9am on Thursday in the mosques and musallahs nationwide.
Sheikh Khalifa called on all Muslims living in the country to pray to Allah to bless the land with rain and mercy, in accordance with the Prophet Mohammed’s (Peace Be Upon Him) Sunnah Course.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology is forecasting partly cloudy skies with moderate winds today. There is a chance for mist or fog due to the increasing humidity. Coastal highs are expected to be in the range of 27 C to 31 C.
