Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed discussed efforts to boost ties with Sierra Leone during talks with the country's president.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces hosted Julius Maada Bio at Qasr Al Bahr.

The two men held talks on ways to improve co-operational in a range of fields, including investment,  infrastructure, agriculture and sustainable development.

Mr Bio thanked the UAE for the humanitarian support it has offered to the West African nation.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior political figures from both countries.
