Rallies and protests have swept across Lebanon this weekend, calling for government reforms, and initially sparked by anger over a new, now cancelled, levy on WhatsApp calls (the announcement of which came right after the devastating fires that struck the country).
But the protesters are now talking about much more than voice calls, and represent a wide range of the Lebanese community, rallying against the political system overall.
Many celebrities also hit the streets to speak out against corruption, with Saad Ramadan saying that, at this point, "silence is treason".
